Hosted by the Chamber Music Society of the Carolinas, the annual series will be held at 4 p.m. on Sundays from July 12 through Aug. 2 at the First United Methodist Church in Waynesville.
The series will include Ripples (July 12), Parlor to Pub (July 19), Today’s Voices (July 26) and Equality (Aug. 2). Single tickets are $40 per person and $140 for a season pass. Students/youth tickets are $10.
“Chamber music connects to our souls. It is like a thrilling, intimate party of your closest friends and family,” said violinist/co-artistic director J. Freivogel. “Each performer is a solo voice who contributes, listens, interrupts, supports and reacts through the performance. There is a sonic range to the instruments beyond what microphones can record. Hearing live classical music is entirely distinct from listening on headphones or radio.”
