The Channel 4 dating programme sees a batch of celebrities leaving their love lives in the hands of experts
Celebs Go Dating is poised to broadcast an ‘outrageous’ first date that left one participant bewildered.
The E4 dating programme returns to our screens next Monday (4th May), with a new group of famous faces entrusting their romantic lives to the experts.
Relationship specialist Paul C. Brunson returns to the advisory panel, joined by therapist Anna Williamson and sexual communication expert Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn.
They’ll be welcoming MAFS bride Lucinda Light, rugby legend James Haskell, Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan, Love Island veteran Gabby Allen, rapper Professor Green, content creator PK Humble and television personality David Potts to the exclusive dating agency.
With mere days remaining until the fresh series launches, former islander Gabby has revealed details of a peculiar first date that left her completely baffled, reports the Mirror.
Speaking to Channel 4, she revealed: “I cannot wait for the first episode to come out when my first date walks into the bar holding a goldfish and I was like, ‘Is this actually happening to me right now?’
“I won’t spoil it because people need to watch it, but he said some outrageous stuff, which left me literally like, I can’t believe that this is happening. It was outrageous in a way I think he was trying to flirt with me.”
Teasing the episode further, Gabby continued: “Some of the stuff he was saying. I was like, ‘This is doing the absolute opposite.”
However, she still commended her date, stating: “But you know what, I have to give it to him, he was absolutely hilarious and his goldfish broke the ice!
“He definitely settled me into the agency. I think the agents have done really well because all the guys that I’ve met have been lovely and I feel like they will make great partners for different people. It’s just about finding who’s right for you.”
The 34 year old reality television personality is well-versed in pursuing romance on screen, having featured on Love Island, Love Island: All Stars and Love Island Games.
While she flourished on the ITV programmes, Gabby has revealed that Celebs Go Dating has proved a more “intimate” experience.
Celebs Go Dating starts on E4 next Monday, May 4 at 9pm
