Following the death of her husband, Charlie Kirk, a video previously shared by Erika Kirk (née Frantzve) resurfaced.
“…thank you for being my love story,” Erika, 36, captioned the footage shared on February 19.
In the short video, the couple can be seen with their daughter and son exiting a vehicle and walking into what appears to be a political event. Erika is wearing a tiered black lace gown alongside Charlie’s suit and tie.
Charlie and the former Miss Arizona met in 2018 and immediately began dating. They tied the knot in May 2021 and welcomed two children: a daughter in 2022 and a son in 2024.
The far-right commentator commented on the video, writing, “My favorite,” with a red heart emoji.
Charlie was shot and killed on the campus of Utah Valley University on Wednesday, September 10. He was there as part of the American Comeback tour, where he traveled to various college campuses to debate students on a number of political hot topics.
The FBI is investigating the crime. Two suspects have been taken into custody and subsequently released. The gunman is still at large.
Thoughts and prayers were sent from all angles, including politicians like Bernie Sanders, Gavin Newsom and former president Barack Obama.
Charlie was 31 years old.
