Dylan Efron is one of 14 celebrity contestants who’ll be competing on season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars.”
The 33-year-old is the brother of actor Zac Efron, who is known for his roles in the “High School Musical” trilogy, “Hairspray,” “Neighbors,” “The Greatest Showman,” and “Ironclaw.” Dylan may be less of a household name than his brother, but he’s got a loyal fanbase of his own.
Dylan was a fan-favorite on season 3 of the Peacock reality show “The Traitors,” which premiered in January. He took the game seriously and ended up winning alongside his fellow “faithfuls” Gabby Windey, Dolores Catania, and Lord Ivar Mountbatten.

During a July appearance on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast, Dylan said he was not expecting the outpouring of love he received from “The Traitors” viewers.
“I didn’t put on an act really, so I think people are just seeing me and are liking it, which is, like, the best feeling in the world,” he said.
In addition to his reality TV fame, Dylan is a television producer and production coordinator. He’s worked on films including “Ready Player One,” “American Sniper,” and “A Star Is Born.” He also served as a producer for his brother’s travel docuseries “Down to Earth With Zac Efron.”
Dylan, who is four years younger than Zac, spoke highly of his brother during a February interview with Cosmopolitan.
“I love my brother. I’m so proud of him, and if anything, it’s helped me with my career, so I have no issue with people calling me Zac’s little brother,” he said.
Dylan is already rehearsing for season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars” with his pro partner, Daniella Karagach. On Wednesday, Sept. 10, he posted an Instagram video of the duo practicing their moves in an Erewhon.
While “DWTS” has had its fair share of romances between celebrities and their partners over the years, Dylan and Karagach are both spoken for. Dylan has known his longtime girlfriend, Courtney King, since high school, while Karagach is married to fellow “DWTS” pro Pasha Pashkov.
“Dancing With the Stars” airs on ABC and Disney+ on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET beginning on Sept. 16. Episodes will be available to stream on Disney+ the day after they air.
