Charlie Sheen is abstaining from sex.
According to an article published by Page Six on Tuesday, September 9, the Two and a Half Men alum, 60, hasn’t had a girlfriend since he got sober eight years ago.
When asked if that “means he is celibate,” the Three Musketeers actor responded, “If I don’t have a girlfriend and I’m not paying for it, then I think the math is pretty simple. The math is pretty simple.”
“Oh my gosh, for so long [sex] was all I cared about, or it was near the top of the priority list. And so I just saw [celibacy] as a needed break from those pursuits,” the thrice-married star — who, in 2011, revealed he had been diagnosed with HIV — explained, per the outlet. “That’s not me slamming the door on anything in the future. No, I would absolutely welcome some type of companionship.”

The Golden Globe winner has dropped many other bombshells about his wild past in his memoir The Book of Sheen, which hit shelves on Tuesday.
As Star previously reported, Sheen revealed that Mira Sorvino once offered to sleep with him if he turned himself in after he violated probation — and during that same time, Tori Spelling also refused to give him a place to stay.
In his Netflix documentary, aka Charlie Sheen (out September 10), he also revealed he has had sexual encounters with men.
“I flipped the menu over,” he reveals in the documentary, according to People.
“It’s f***ing liberating… [to] just talk about stuff,” Sheen adds. “It’s like, a train didn’t come through the side of the restaurant. A f***ing piano didn’t fall out of the sky. No one ran into the room and shot me.”
