Chase Infiniti is making her big-screen debut and getting used to everything that comes with it — including awkward red-carpet questions.
Infiniti stars alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the new comedy/adventure film, “One Battle After Another.” The movie follows ex-revolutionaries who rejoin forces after their nemesis resurfaces nearly 20 years later.
But sometimes art imitates life — and what resurfaced this time around was an eyebrow-raising question Infiniti, 25, was asked on the red carpet of the film’s premiere.
“What’s it like calling Leonardo DiCaprio ‘daddy?’” Infiniti was asked by Variety in a now-deleted interview.
In an article published on Tuesday, BuzzFeed described the actor as looking “visibly stumped by the question.”
“Well, umm, did not think that it would be something I would do,” she responded.
Though the post was deleted, social media remembered.
“Not Variety deleting the video of Mark Malkin acting a damn fool with Chase Infiniti on the ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER red carpet,” one user wrote.
Some even asked the outlet to take action, saying, “All love to Chase Infiniti [as] she navigated that red carpet moment with such poise, grace and elegance. Variety should issue a public apology.”

In an interview with Vanity Fair published Aug. 14, Infiniti detailed how “nervous” she was ahead of a press tour of this magnitude.
“It’s very scary, because I’m a very anxious person,” she said. “What if I say the wrong thing?”
