El Paso Comic Con is in for nonstop laughs following the announcement of a legendary comedic duo.
Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong, also known as Cheech & Chong, have been added to the guest list for El Paso Comic Con 2026, which takes place from May 1-3 at the El Paso convention center. The pair is known for their stand-up routines and films surrounding the hippie and free love era, the drug and counterculture movements, and their love for cannabis.
Fans can enjoy a photo op with the two, including a table selfie, professional photoshoot, or an 8×10 autographed photo. Prices are still to be determined, according to the El Paso Comic Con website.
Cheech & Chong are joining a nostalgic lineup—Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes (Jay and Silent Bob) are also expected to attend, along with “Foxy Brown” star Pam Grier.
El Pasoans expressed excitement on El Paso Comic Con’s Facebook page upon learning that Cheech & Chong would be making a stop in the Sun City. “To paraphrase a classic: “we’re gonna a need a bigger boat” for this show!” one person wrote.
Tickets for the event are on sale now and can be purchased online.
