Disney Studios has officially passed $6 billion in worldwide box office revenue for 2025, becoming the first and only major studio to reach this milestone this year.
According to sources tracking box office numbers, Disney has earned $2.3 billion domestically, the highest for any studio in the U.S. so far, and $3.65 billion from international markets.
The achievement came slightly ahead of schedule, boosted by the global success of James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, which has already earned over $450 million worldwide. Warner Bros, the next closest major studio, has earned $4.3 billion so far this year according to Deadline.
