GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — It’s officially the holiday season on West Michigan’s Star 105.7.
WOOD TV8’s Tom Hillen joined Star 105.7’s Shmitty to “flip the switch” to Christmas music at 7 a.m. Monday. He even had the honor of choosing the first song: “Oh Santa!” by Mariah Carey featuring Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson.
Shmitty says listeners are ready and have been reaching out to ask when the Christmas music will start.

“Everyone is in the mood. I see Christmas lights going up. I see so many people feeling the festive spirit,” Shmitty said. “So I don’t think we could do it too soon.”
