Cincinnati country music station B-105 won the Country Music Association award for Station of the Year for the large market category.
The station, also known as WUBE-FM, received a call from country artist and CMA nominee Tucker Wetmore with the news on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
The station has won several CMA awards in its more than 50-year history.
Radio Station of the Year candidates are judged on several factors, including ratings, community involvement and a recording of the broadcast, according to the trade organization.

Two Ohio stations, WHKO in Dayton and WQMX in Akron, were nominated for Radio Station of the Year in the medium market category, but didn’t win.
“The 59th Annual CMA Awards” will air Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The broadcast will be live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
