Spring has nearly sprung, and Cincinnati has one of the best places in the country to stop and smell the … tulips.
Zoo Blooms at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden was voted the third-best flower festival in the country in USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, revealed Wednesday.
The Cincinnati Zoo show, taking place April 1-30 this year, claimed the No. 3 spot behind No. 1 Daffodil Festival at Gibbs Garden in Ball Ground, Georgia, and No. 2 Rochester Lilac Festival in Rochester, New York.
The gardens at the Cincinnati Zoo, which became the first zoo in the world to earn the highest level of accreditation for development and conservation of its botanic gardens in 2023, ranked No. 2 for Best Botanical Garden in the 2025 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards and No. 1 in 2024.
Selections for USA TODAY’s 10Best rankings are nominated by a panel of industry experts, vetted by 10Best editors and then voted on by the public. Cincinnati has been featured in several 10Best categories already this year, including Best New Brewery, Best History Museum, Best Children’s Museum, Best Pop Culture Museum and Best City for Street Art.
