The “looksmaxxing” influencer is known for his extreme pursuits to maximize his perceived attractiveness
Peters has been embroiled in a series of legal troubles over the last few months, including a recent misdemeanor charge for allegedly discharging a firearm in public
Braden Peters — the controversial “looksmaxxing” influencer known as Clavicular — has livestreamed his latest cosmetic intervention.
On the morning of June 3, Peters, 20, livestreamed on the platform Kick for just under five hours, documenting the process of meeting with his surgeon and sharing video of him on the operating table while he underwent his rhinoplasty.
Peters’ surgery was performed by Michael Salzhauer — the celebrity surgeon known online as Dr. Miami — who went viral in April after a former employee made a series of allegations in a viral video about him, including that Salzhauer denied her repeated requests for raises, that his personality was “erratic” and that he repeatedly encouraged her to get liposuction on her arms. (Salzhauer told PEOPLE in a statement that her claims were “omitting necessary background and context.”)
Peters’ rhinoplasty is the latest in a string of heavily publicized methods the content creator has pursued in an attempt to maximize his perceived attractiveness. He has previously admitted to several dangerous and controversial methods to modify his appearance, including using meth as an appetite suppressant and attempting to shape his jaw with a hammer.
The livestreamed surgery follows several controversial months for Peters.
In May, the internet personality agreed to six months of probation, community service hours and the completion of a firearms safety course after he was charged with a misdemeanor on the accusation of discharging a firearm in public.

The month prior, Peters was sued by the influencer Alorah Ziva over allegations of battery, fraud and intentional infliction of emotional distress, per a complaint obtained by PEOPLE. (Through his attorney, Peters has denied the claims and disputed the “characterization of events.”) Peters was also arrested on battery charges in March after he reportedly provoked a fight between two women and then posted the video online.
The content creator also made headlines in March when he was hospitalized for an overdose while livestreaming in a Miami restaurant. Following the incident, PEOPLE confirmed that Peters’ publicist stopped working with him over his drug use, and Peters has since told his followers on several occasions that he is no longer using drugs or alcohol.
