Nicole Kidman is at the Met Gala in Chanel.

The 58-year-old Oscar winner is in attendance at the 2026 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 4) in New York City.

She hit the red carpet alongside the event’s co-chairs, including Anna Wintour and Lauren Sánchez Bezos.

Nicole is a six-time attendee and serving as one of this year’s celebrity co-chairs.

The Margo’s Got Money Troubles star wore a look styled by Jason Bolden consisting of a gorgeous, deep-red sequin Chanel gown with feathered trim. She accessorized with an archival Omega “Manhattan” watch from 1982 comprising 18-karat white and yellow gold and adorned with 34 diamonds on the bezel, 178 diamonds on the bracelet, and 12 more on the hour markers, making a total of 224 diamonds, per Vogue.

Nicole posed alongside her daughter Sunday Rose, 17, who she shares with ex-husband Keith Urban. Sunday made her Met Gala debut this year in a pink Dior gown.

What this year’s Met Gala theme is about

The Met Gala is the biggest night in fashion every year and you can expect hundreds of A-List celebrities to be in attendance. The gala is celebrating the Met’s Costume Art exhibition, which “explores the ‘centrality of the dressed body’ through depictions and interpretations of the human form in the Met’s extensive collection.” The dress code this year is “Fashion is Art” and the co-chairs for the gala are Beyonce, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
