EXCLUSIVE: UTA has signed stand-up comedian, podcaster and actor Akaash Singh for global representation in all areas, with an eye toward expanding his footprint across live touring, media, filmed entertainment, brand partnerships, ventures, podcasting, and digital.
As a stand-up, Singh is known for the self-released specials Bring Back Apu and Gaslit, which generated 4.9M and 6.5M views on YouTube, respectively. On the heels of this digital success, he is slated to film his next comedy special this fall.
Recently, Singh has sold out venues such as Radio City Music Hall and the Chicago Theatre. His current Generational Triumph World Tour has seen him selling out clubs and theaters in 50+ cities globally.
Born in Dallas, Singh built his early television presence on MTV’s Guy Code and Wild ‘n Out before landing roles on Netflix’s Brown Nation and HBO’s The Leftovers. Additional credits include Fox’s Good Medicine, Prime Video’s adult animated series #1 Happy Family USA from Ramy Youssef and Pam Brady, and the indie drama How to Follow Strangers.
