Legendary country singer Daniel O’Donnell will launch his new album in Dungannon this weekend.
The Donegal singer will release his new album Daniel O’Donnell, Now & Then in Stewart’s Music Shop, Dungannon, on Saturday at 12pm.
The popular performer will sing in the Tyrone shop as part of the launch, and fans will have the opportunity to meet him.
Mr. O’Donnell’s new CD features 26 tracks, 14 of which are new recordings. These include The Last Song, The Girl on Bedsit Avenue, As Happy As We Were and I Just Called to Say I Love You. The album also contains his interpretations of Don Williams’ You’re My Best Friend, John Denver’s Take Me Home, Country Roads and Ronan Keating’s When You Say Nothing at All.
In addition, the CD features duets with fellow artists including Dominic Kirwan, Charley Pride, Loretta Lynn, Derek Ryan, Mary Duff and many more.
Earlier this month, Mr. O’Donnell launched a new book, My Life in Pictures and Music. He is also set to embark on a tour of the UK later this year.
