Just weeks after Zach Bryan fans gave life to speculation that the country music star might have eloped with his new girlfriend, Samantha Leonard, there is new fuel to that fire.
According to Whiskey Riff, a post Bryan made to his Instagram story gave fresh life to the rumors, and … well, there is video that does look plenty suspicious.
What makes it appear that way you ask?
Well, in the video Leonard is holding Bryan’s cat, “Stump,” and she appears to be trying to conceal what certainly looks like a very large diamond ring on her finger. And Whiskey Riff reported there is another photo of Leonard at the shooting range that appears to show her wearing that “massive rock,” too.
Neither Bryan not Leonard have announced an engagement or marriage, however, so this could all just be fans jumping the gun.
It was actually a photo of Bryan and a ring that got this whole thing going back in November.
The 29-year-old country star ended his 2024 with a nasty breakup with girlfriend and Barstool Sports personality Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, and he has faced ridicule because Leonard looks pretty darned similar to his ex.
Anyway, in November Whiskey Riff reported that the rumors were popping up thanks to an eagle-eyed TikTok creator who spotted a gold band on Bryan’s finger in a video and shared a screen shot asking folks what that was all about.
“I might be five hours late to this, but we think Zach Bryan is married, right?” the creator asked per Whiskey Riff. “Like that ring is not there in the first video, and her left hand is covered, but there is no mistaking it in the picture?!?!?!?!?!?!”
The photo came of Bryan’s finger clearly appearing to sport a band came from a video of him paragliding.
If the singer did go and get engaged or married, he would be moving fast. He and Leonard made their relationship official on Oct. 18.
