More than 40 artists of all ages participated in the 2025 Creek Week Art Contest this year, creating submissions based on the theme Once Upon a Creek: Bringing the Community Together with Art.

The contest winners were announced Sept. 25 during a reception at the Goleta Community Center, 5679 Hollister Ave.

Winners were selected based on the artwork’s relevance to the theme, overall appearance, and originality in three age categories, organizers said.

Mayor Paula Perotte and guest judge Elizabeth Flanagan, president of the Goleta Valley Art Association, selected the following winners.
