On New Years’s Eve, Dakota Johnson hosted a party for all her friends and her rumored love interest, the musician Role Model, otherwise known as Tucker Pillsbury. A source speaking with Entertainment Tonight stated that they were “inseparable” at the event, which came two weeks after they were first linked romantically.
“Dakota hosted a New Year’s Eve party and she and Role Model were inseparable throughout the night,” said the source. “They were kissing, dancing and holding onto each other. They looked incredibly happy, cute, and sweet together.”
Johnson’s mother, Melanie Griffith, was also there and appeared to be “completely comfortable” with Role Model, implying she’s familiar with the musical artist.
Earlier in December, TMZ published photos of the pair enjoying a candlelit dinner together, quoting sources that claimed Johnson was “lying on him all cuddled up at the cozy dinner.”
Johnson recently ended her relationship with Chris Martin after many years together and a rumored engagement. In November, a source told People that Johnson was starting to date again.
“[She] has been slowly dating again, and she’s happy,” the insider said. “Her relationship with Chris was often hot and cold, and while she always hoped they’d work out, she seems lighter and more at peace now that it’s final.”
In her interview with The Materialists costar Pedro Pascal in May, Johnson talked about dating and matchmaking.
“I’ve never dated anybody,” she confessed. “I’ve had boyfriends, but I have never been on a dating app. I just don’t know that world. So, it was so interesting and intriguing. It’s the most beautiful side of humanity, but it can also be the most ugly. Loving someone is the most scary and beautiful thing you can do.”
