While this doesn’t prove any wrongdoing, which Andrew has always denied regarding his friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, it does little to boost the former prince’s reputation, an expert has said. The newly released photograph also comes just months after Andrew was involved in other scandals surrounding Epstein, which resulted in him losing his royal titles and Royal Lodge home.
Speaking to The Express today, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said the release of such a photograph will be an embarrassment to the Royal Family.
He said: “These photos of Andrew with an unidentified woman in the files linked to the deceased paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, coming after a recently released photograph of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor lying across four women at Sandringham, will bring more embarrassment for the Royal Family.
“We don’t know when they were taken or the context and he has denied all wrongdoing, but they will seem extremely damning, especially to a public, where, in the latest YouGov poll, he has only 6% support.”
While one photograph seems to show him on all fours leaning over a woman lying on the floor, another appears to show him touching her stomach.
Other people appear to be in the room in the background of the image, however it is unclear who they are.
It is also unclear where the photograph was taken, or when.
The former prince was served an eviction notice after scandals just months ago surrounding Epstein. He will be moved to Marsh Farm on King Charles’ private Sandringham Estate.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been contacted for comment.
