Danielle Fishel will have her own Boy Meets World cheering section at the Season 34 premiere of Dancing With the Stars on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
The 44-year-old actress revealed which of her former co-stars will attend the DWTS premiere while chatting exclusively with Parade.
“Will [Friedle] and Rider [Strong] are coming on Week 1 and so is Lance [Bass],” Fishel told Parade at the iHeartPodcasts Fall Launch Event in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, Sept. 10. “So I’m so excited that Lance will be there, and then that won’t be the only time you see them as well.”
Friedle, who played Eric Matthews, and Strong, who played Shawn Hunter, on the TGIF staple also host “Pod Meets World” with Fishel. Bass, known of course for being part of the ’90s boy band NSYNC, used to date Fishel, and the two even went to prom together.
When Fishel was asked if co-star William Daniels — who famously portrayed Mr. Feeny on the beloved series that ran for seven seasons from 1993 to 2000 — will be in attendance, Fishel replied: “I hope so. That is my fingers crossed [that] Bill will be in the audience.”
In addition to competing on this season of DWTS, Fishel recently launched a new podcast, “Danielle With the Stars,” which premiered on Sept. 3.
“I’m doing some incredible interviews. I’m interviewing current and former contestants and pros, so [they ’re] really great interviews,” she told Parade of her latest venture. “And then I’m going to be recording a podcast at the end of the night on the live show. So I’m gonna do the live show, do the press line, and then record a podcast. So everything’s fresh.”
She continued: “I’m gonna tell you about wardrobe malfunctions you may not have known, issues that came up, things that happened during dress rehearsal, kind of while everything’s fresh and new. I’m gonna tell you all the things: What we were saying to each other on the dance floor, if I missed a step, what I thought about what the judges had to say. All the juicy scoop.”
Dancing With the Stars premieres live on ABC on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 8 p.m. ET and can also be streamed live on Disney+.
