Who is Irene in Dark Winds?
German actress Franka Potente, 51, joins Dark Winds in Season 4 as ruthless villain Irene Vaggan, who has a dark WWII past and becomes obsessed with Leaphorn.
Irene is fixated with Native Americans, life in the Southwest and warriors from books she read in Germany.
When she lays eyes on Leaphorn while working on the reservation, it’s her fantasy come true.
