DeAPlaneta Entertainment is presenting its upcoming 2026 content slate at Spielwarenmesse, where the company is showcasing new animated productions, franchise expansions, and licensed brands during the fair’s 75th anniversary edition.
Among the key highlights is Karters, an animated series co-produced with Mediawan Kids & Family and set to premiere in Fall 2026. Set in the fantasy world of Unicornia, the series follows a group of young characters who race karts while navigating adventure-driven storylines centered on friendship and perseverance. TOMY International is attached as the master toy partner for the property.
“DeAPlaneta Entertainment’s presence at Spielwarenmesse highlights the evolution of our strategy,” shares Antonella Ceraso, International Consumer Products Director of DeAPlaneta Entertainment. “A 2026 portfolio built on our own co-productions and internationally-oriented brands, capable of connecting with different targets — from children to the Kidult segment — and generating solid opportunities for our partners in an increasingly cross-cutting market.”
DeAPlaneta Entertainment is also spotlighting updates to its preschool franchise, Milo. Following the company’s acquisition of full ownership of the brand, Milo has expanded beyond its core series to include short-form content such as Milo’s Creations, Milo’s Bookreads, and Milosodes, as well as a new version of the Milo’s World app. A third season of the animated series is scheduled to premiere in 2027.
Additional projects on display include Underdog, a reboot of the classic animated property produced in collaboration with Superprod Group, and Magic Lilly, an animated sequel to the publishing franchise that has sold more than 28 million copies worldwide. DeAPlaneta is also presenting WonderPals, a transmedia universe focused on emotional learning that combines digital content, apps, and licensed products.
Alongside its original productions, DeAPlaneta Entertainment is using Spielwarenmesse to present the portfolio of brands it represents as a licensing agent across territories including Iberia, Italy, France, Germany, and Central and Eastern Europe. These include Unicorn Academy, Robocar Poli, Skibidi Toilet, Pocoyó, Care Bears, Smurfs, Sesame Street, and properties from The Jim Henson Company.
