Talking to Demi Lovato on the phone felt like chatting with an old friend. As a millennial who grew up watching the former Disney Channel star grow into a fierce, multitalented artist throughout the span of nearly two decades, it was almost as if I knew her on a personal level. During our chat, I got to learn about her current favorites and the must-haves she plans to bring on tour for her brand-new album, It’s Not That Deep.
First, Demi described what a show day will probably look like once she hits the road (the tour kicks off on April 13 in Orlando, Florida). While she hasn’t toured in a minute, she said this time around her mornings will probably consist of sipping matcha while eating breakfast, and then attending soundcheck and rehearsal.
Demi shared that this run of shows “has a lot of dancing”—and during pre-tour rehearsals, she has been wearing a pair of Nikes on repeat (she didn’t specify which kind, but based on a recent Instagram post, we think it’s the Nike Shox TL).
With such a busy routine, I asked Demi how she stays energized and comfortable on long rehearsal days. She mentioned TheraBreath, a brand she’s currently partnering with. She loves the Anticavity Oral Rinse (the Sparkle Mint flavor, specifically):

Once she’s on tour, Demi shares that she’ll probably wear her TheraBody Pro compression boots on the bus in between shows while watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The star even mentioned that she might get back into knitting in her downtime, and we’re so here for it.
And of course, Demi also shared that she’ll definitely have a portable charger on hand, because “you never know when you’re gonna need a quick charge”—especially after day-long rehearsals and evening shows.
The topic of late nights led to late-night scrolls—and me being a shopper editor, I asked Demi if she ever bought anything on TikTok Shop in the wee hours of the night. She immediately started laughing. The celeb admitted that after her most recent buy, she put herself in “time out” from nighttime scrolling.
“The last thing that I bought that was random and a late-night scroll […] was a power washer… like, a steam power washer. And I was like, ‘We need this for the house.’”
Demi goes on, “I bought it a month ago, and I have not used it. I don’t know what I’m doing; like, I don’t know what I’d be doing with that.” We both laughed because, same.
It’s a relatable purchase, though—especially after being influenced by viral power-washing videos online that Demi calls “so satisfying.”
After hearing about Demi’s power washer purchase, I had to know what else was floating around in her Amazon cart. “I keep my Amazon carts pretty clean,” she says. “I’m very impulsive when it comes to online shopping—so when I see something, I just get it.”
However, Demi notes, “I’m a big fan of the Cyklar body lotion and body wash; that’s probably sitting in my Amazon or TikTok Shop, especially because I like to use that on the road.”
Her favorite scent? Vanilla Verve. It’s “to die for,” Demi says.
Between sweet-smelling lotion, compression boots, and the possibility of knitting-filled nights, it sounds like Demi’s downtime while she’s on tour is going to be centered around wellness and comfort.
