Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar not only shattered box office records but also helped its key actors achieve recognition for their flawless performances. Ever since the film released, performances of actors like Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun and Akshaye Khanna are all movie buffs can talks about.
It seems that Dhurandhar fever has spilled into IMDb as well, a popular entertainment rating platform that rates global films, shows, actors, filmmakers, etc. This week’s popular Indian celebrities list on IMDb was dominated by Dhurandhar stars, with Sara Arjun leading the pack with #1 position. At the start of the year, Sara had also beaten stars like Prabhas and Vijay to bag the first place on the list. Ranveer Singh came in at #2.
Sara and Ranveer have surpassed stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai also feature in the top 10, at #8 and #10, respectively.
Aditya Dhar stands at #6, while Akshaye Khanna stands at #7 on the IMDb list. R Madhavan, who also plays the role of Ajit Sanyal in Dhurandhar, is at #17. Arjun Rampal came in at #21, Sanjay Dutt is at #35, and Rakesh Bedi is at #64 in the top 100 out of 250 celebrities. It means eight cast members from Dhurandhar have made it to the list this week.
Other actors who have made it to the list includes Sunny Deol who is at #3 after the release of Border 2, Zoya Afroz of Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web is at #4, Samara Tijori from Daldal is at #5, while Mallika Prasad who earned praises for Mardaani 3 is at #9.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a gritty spy-actioner inspired by true stories. Despite being banned in Gulf nations and Pakistan, Dhurandhar earned more than Rs 1300 crore worldwide. Its second part, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is slated for an Eid release on March 19, 2026.
