Did Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce already say “I do?” During Wednesday’s new episode of “New Heights,” fans began speculating that the pop star and NFL player already married after an exchange between Kelce and Cincinnati’s Men’s Basketball Head Coach Jerrod Calhoun.
While talking college sports, Calhoun teased Kelce by saying he’d get him “a good NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) deal.” For context, these deals allows students athletes to receive compensation from third parties in exchange for endorsements, appearances, and social media promotions.
As Kelce, 36, got excited, Calhoun added: “You gotta ask your wife.” Kelce then pretended to ask Swift by saying “Sweetie, I’m going back to school.”
Fans quickly noticed how Kelce didn’t correct the head coach when he referred to Swift as his wife.
“Boy didn’t even flinch when he called Taylor his wife,” wrote one user on X.

Fans accounts for Swift also seemed to take the exchange between Kelce and Calhoun as a possible confirmation that the pair’s wedding may have already happened.
“THE WEDDING HAPPENED? Travis Kelce seemingly confirmed on New Heights that he’s now MARRIED to Taylor Swift,” posted the The Taylor Swift Updates X account, which has over 19,000 followers.
This slip-up comes almost two weeks after Swift gave Kelce a special shoutout during her acceptance speech at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 26. While accepting the award for Pop Album of the Year for “The Life of a Showgirl,” she referred to him as her fianceé, sharing that he makes her feel “happy, confident, and free”
Swift and Kelce began dating in September 2023 and got engaged in August 2025. It has been long rumored that power duo could be marrying on June 13 at her Rhode Island mansion in Watch Hill, or the nearby Ocean House resort. However, neither Swift or Kelce have made any public comments on when their big will be … or was.
