Sean “Diddy” Combs is saying goodbye to one of his biggest properties.
The disgraced rapper, 56, has sold one of his waterfront Star Island mansions in Florida for $55 million, according to The Real Deal.
Property records viewed by the outlet show Combs’ waterfront property was purchased by JFStar LLC, a real estate holding company based in Newport News, Virginia. The buyer reportedly financed the purchase with an $18.5 million mortgage from San Diego-based Axos Bank.
The six-bedroom, eight-and-a-half-bathroom house has 240 feet of water frontage, a pool and spa and a dock. The complex was first built in 1940 and expanded in 1995.
Property records show Combs still owns his main house right next door, according to The Real Deal.
Us Weekly has reached out to Combs’ rep for comment.
The real estate news comes as the record executive continues to serve his prison sentence after being found guilty of two prostitution charges. (A jury acquitted Combs on the additional charges of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking.)
Diddy is currently behind bars at Fort Dix, a low-security federal prison in southern New Jersey, where he spends his time shelving library books, exercising in the yard and awaiting the outcome of an appeal that could overturn his conviction.
In early April, three judges from the Second U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York City spent nearly two hours hearing arguments from Combs’ legal team, who are seeking to overturn his conviction.
Combs’ lawyer, Juda Engelmayer, previously told Us that his client remains “remarkably positive” and “hopeful” as he waits for the court’s decision.
“He’s focused on the appeal,” Engelmayer said in June, “and looking back at his life and trying to figure out ways to improve and be a better person.”
Combs’ attorney added that his client has been hands-on with the case amid the appeal process.
“He’s become like a paralegal, if not a lawyer already,” he shared. “My experience [is that] clients who are deeply involved in their cases are the ones who get further.”
As part of Combs’ prison sentence, the rapper is participating in Fort Dix’s Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP). When Combs was arrested in September 2024, federal agents found ketamine, MDMA and prescription drugs in the musician’s New York City hotel room. In a letter submitted to the judge before sentencing, Combs admitted he had “lost his way” in “drugs and excess.”
