The Paramore frontwoman’s first-ever solo world tour, supporting her recent album “Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party,” begins March 27 in Atlanta and runs through June 30 in Dublin.

The presale, hosted through the verified fan platform Openstage, was part of Williams’ effort to limit bots and ticket scalping, but demand far exceeded the number of available tickets.

Verified presale and face-value resale aim to curb scalping

Williams and her team have been transparent about their approach to ticket distribution, using Openstage’s verification system to curb bot activity and ensure that real fans had priority access.

Each registrant was required to verify both their email address and phone number to receive a unique presale code. While this helped reduce automated purchases, Williams acknowledged that no process is completely foolproof.

“I know this won’t be perfect. You shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to buy tickets to see the show, but unfortunately, it’s a broken and convoluted system,” Williams shared on Instagram. “My team and I are doing everything we can, and I am hopeful that the processes we’ve put into place will get as many tickets into the hands of my fans (at face value) as possible.”

To further protect fans, her team implemented face-value ticket exchanges and disabled transfers in select states, preventing tickets from being resold above their original price where legally allowed.

However, in markets such as New York and Chicago, where ticket transfer restrictions are limited by local law, resale listings still appear on secondary platforms like Vivid Seats.
