Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead in their Los Angeles residence.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, they were responding to a report on Sunday, December 14, 2025. When they arrived to assist, Reiner and his wife were already dead. The Los Angeles Police Department joined the Lafd at the scene within an hour of their arrival. Officials later said that it was a “family incident.”
The couple’s daughter, Romy Reiner, was reportedly the one who discovered their bodies and called the police. The two passed away from an apparent stabbing, and the police are investigating the deaths as a double homicide.
