Sweet Valentine’s Day restaurants in Delaware for romantic dinner

Beer lovers, cocktail connoisseurs and music fans alike can enjoy Valentine’s Day events at Dogfish Head’s various coastal Delaware locations. Here’s what’s happening:
On Feb. 13 at the Milton Brewery, 6 Cannery Village Center, from 4 to 8:30 p.m., the folks from Browseabout Books will be onsite for a “Love at First Draft” book fair featuring a pop-up book shop full of romance novels, rom-coms and heartfelt tales. To complement the evening’s love stories, spirits-lovers can snag a special Valentine’s Day tipple – the Hull & Helm Whiskey Smash – made with Dogfish Head Distilling Co.’s house-made whiskey. Dylan Canfield will treat guests to a live music performance from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Chesapeake & Maine, at 316 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach, is offering a Valentine’s Day seafood-forward brunch. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 14, patrons can indulge in off-centered favorites like crab and avocado toast, lobster benedict, and more, all alongside a brunch cocktail … or two. At 2 p.m., the restaurant begins its Valentine’s Day dinner service. For $25 per person, choose between a selection of special surf and turf entrees, including house-made short rib tortellini and Maine lobster carbonara.
On Feb. 14 at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats, 320 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth, from 9-10:30 p.m., the Al Frantic Trio takes the stage. The trio led by Al Frantic, owner of Milton’s Frantic Frets Guitar Shop, features strong, soulful vocals applied to a selection of classic rock, blues and dance tunes. No tickets needed. No cover charge.
On Valentine’s Day weekend, the Dogfish INN at 105 Savannah Road in Lewes said guests can add the “Off-Centered Occasion” package to their stay for just $99, which includes a local flower arrangement, an assortment of local chocolates, two Dogfish Head glass occasional glasses, and a voucher for a free pizza at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth.
