After two fan-favorite couples were eliminated in Dancing with the Stars’ first double elimination of the season, fans are saying the end of the episode is “worse than the rapture.”
Following the Tuesday, September 23 episode, one fan took to X to share, “COREY FELDMAN GOT ELIMINATED ON DANCING WITH THE STARS. THIS IS WORSE THAN THE RAPTURE.”
“NOW WHY WOULD YOU ELIMINATE @Corey_Feldman … my little sweetheart. no one talk to me,” another wrote following Feldman’s brutal moment.
A third supportive fan said, “I’m really disappointed by tonight’s results @Corey_Feldman, but I’m proud you went out there and did the darn thing.”
Fans also rallied around fellow eliminated contestant, as one said, “Baron Davis was robbed!”
Last night’s elimination, which marked the first of the season, saw Baron Davis and Corey Feldman get sent home from the competition despite two great performances from both contestants.
Upon getting eliminated, Hollywood actor Feldman told the audience and judges that he felt bad for partner Jenna Johnson, who won the Mirrorball Trophy last year alongside Bachelor Joey Graziadei.
Davis, who is a former point guard for the Golden State Warriors, was paired with pro Britt Stewart.
Following the elimination, Davis told Us Weekly that he “is not happy at all” with the results of the latest episode.
Stewart added that the pair were both “really shocked” but said, “I think I am always very positive and I’m always the person that will say, ‘Everything happens for a reason,’ I completely believe that this was cut too short.”
