Dancing With the Stars fans, it looks like there’s a chance a familiar face may not be on our screens this season.
With season 34 set to debut on September 16 on ABC and Disney+, fans are eager to see which contestants will be paired with which pros. But it looks like longtime pro Gleb Savchenko is seemingly teasing his future with the show in 2025 — and it’s raising some eyebrows about what’s going on.
When the dancer posted a new TikTok video to his account on August 9, his followers took to the comments to rejoice in the chance of seeing him compete on DWTS for another season. But when Gleb decided to reply to his fans’ reactions in the comments, it looked like his TV future may be a bit different than others would want.
“Can’t wait to see you on my tv again in September!” TikTok user @sam_caffrey wrote to Gleb alongside the clip.
“Afraid you won’t,” he remarked in response.
When fans discovered that there’s a possibility Gleb won’t be returning to DWTS for season 34, many got all riled up about it online.
“Wait you won’t be back on dwts this season?! No!!!!” one person lamented in the comments. “You’re literally my favorite. It’s a crime to not have you on the show!!! We riot AND RIDE AT DAWN 😭,” another exclaimed. “I am boycotting this season,” a different follower threatened.
To be clear, as of right now, the higher ups at Dancing With the Stars haven’t confirmed if Gleb — or any of the other pros, for that matter — are returning for season 34. But the show is known to bring back previous pros for specific installments after the fact.
As some may remember from September 2024, Sasha Farber was originally not meant to be on DWTS for season 33 before former Bachelorette star Jenn Tran got added to the list of contestants the night before the news was revealed on Good Morning America.
Even though it’s still a few weeks before Dancing With the Stars season 34 premieres, it looks like we’ll have to wait and see what occurs…
