Early Music at St. James welcomes you back for the 25/26 season with the return of ensemble Lazzuli Baroque in their latest program ‘Music & Medicine’.
Music & Medicine is a musical meditation on what it means to heal the body, mind, and spirit . Weaving together 17th century masterpieces, the five elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and poetry from great healers throughout the centuries, this is a program that fills the heart, and soothes the soul. Featuring works by Strozzi, Monteverdi, Merula, and even a hidden gem by G.F. Handel.
Admission is pay-what-you-can (suggested donation of $20/$15) in support of this series and the arts at St. James Cathedral.
