Following the release of a slew of boundary pussing singles last year, Ecca Vandal kicks off 2026 with the genre-mashing ‘BLEACH’.
Reminiscent of early M.I.A., the track has a pulsating trip-hop beat that begs your body to move, before switching gear in the final minute, with Eccal dropping lyrics over a piano line and old school rap beat.
“‘BLEACH’ is the moment you shed the version of yourself moulded by fear. It’s brutal, honest, messy, and necessary — letting the old stuff go to make room for something new,” explains Ecca.
‘BLEACH’ follows last year’s ‘MOLLY’, ‘CRUISING TO SELF SOOTHE’, ‘BLEED BUT NEVER DIE’ and ‘THEN THERE’S ONE’, all of which are taken from Ecca’s forthcoming yet to be titled sophomore album, set for release sometime this year.
As with previous singles, Ecca has shared a visually stunning music video for ‘BLEACH’, directed by Ecca and frequent collaborator Richie Buxton.
