Elsie Hewitt is looking for a “right hand person” after splitting from her ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
On Saturday, May 16, the model, 30, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories asking for help finding a nanny to care for her 5-month-old daughter, Scottie Rose, whom she shares with the SNL alum.
“I’m currently trying to find an assistant / mother’s helper / nanny type / basically [a] right hand person,” said Hewitt.

“Apply here if qualified and serious,” she said. “Only looking @ responses with resumes. ($ of course).”
However, a source close to Hewitt and Davidson says that both of them are trying to find the right fit for child care for their daughter.
“Both of them are prioritizing finding proper child care,” the source tells PEOPLE. “They’re going through a proper professional vetting process to find the next nanny.”
Over the weekend, Hewitt shared a TikTok video hitting back against criticisms of her casual appearance in recent paparazzi photos. In the clip, the new mom shared that she’s raising her daughter “on her own.”
“That’s not what I’m thinking about right now, because I have a baby to take care of, and I also have to work and make money, and I’m doing it on my own, which is hard,” Hewitt said.
In the comments section, Hewitt liked a response from a TikTok user who said that “not staying with your partner” when they are postpartum is “insanely loser behavior.”
The commenter added, “This is THE most vulnerable time in a woman’s life.” Hewitt appears to have since deleted the like.
In response to Hewitt’s claims, a source close to Davidson told PEOPLE, “Pete has made himself extremely available and has provided full financial support. Pete is actually covering all Scottie costs and more.”
The insider added, “He is hoping Elsie has good health and success for the sake of their daughter.”
Hewitt’s social media posts came days after news broke that she and Davidson had decided to go their separate ways.
“They’re not getting along right now,” an inside source told PEOPLE exclusively after news broke of the split. “They were already struggling a bit while Elsie was pregnant. Things just happened so quickly between them, and they didn’t know each other very well.”
They added that the pair were “trying to work through” how they’ll “be able to co-parent.”
Hewitt and Davidson were first romantically linked in March 2025. The couple announced that they were expecting their first baby together in July 2025, and their daughter was born on Dec. 12, 2025.
