Hitmaking country music bands lead the slate of entertainment set for local and regional venues over the next couple of weeks.

Old Dominion, whose sixth studio album “Barbara” arrived Aug. 22, plays the PPL Center. The quintet, with seven country-radio No. 1s to its credit, released its first hits compilation, “Oldies But Goodies,” in October 2024.

Meanwhile, Parmalee — which has banked four country-radio No. 1s — takes the stage at the Sherman Theater. The quartet released its latest album, “Fell in Love with a Cowgirl,” in April.

In other entertainment highlights, The Mahoning Drive-In Theater hosts the 11th Camp Blood event. George Mihalka, who directed the 1981 slasher flick “My Bloody Valentine,” will attend.

In addition, “Twin Peaks” actor Ray Wise will attend the theater’s tribute to the late filmmaker David Lynch.
