Michelle Moonshine – 7-10 p.m., Moody’s Bistro, Bar & Beats, 10007 Bridge St. Singer-Songwriter Michelle Moonshine’s original songs have an upbeat tempo, catchy vocal lines and heartfelt lyrics; but it’s her unique voice that truly engages a listener at a performance. Her timbre can be described as incredibly sweet and whimsical, and yet is still saturated in feeling that makes you want to stop and listen to every word. During her four years of performing, Michelle has garnered recruitments from NBC’s The Voice in 2014 (to which she turned down after being accepted); and from America’s Got Talent in Fall 2015 which is still ongoing. Within that time she has put a national tour under her belt and honed her craft in producing her own blend of Country-esque Americana https://michellemoonshine.com/ For more information, visit https://www.moodysbistro.com/event/michelle-moonshine-7/2026-05-14/ or call (530) 587-8688.
Stitched at Elevation: Custom Denim Embroidery – Mickeygirl Design – 5-7 p.m., Description Join Bonnie of MickeyGirl for a playful, hands-on embroidery workshop where you’ll customize your favorite denim piece with beautiful, naturally dyed thread. Bring your own denim and Bonnie will help you transform it into something completely personal. Think: jeans, shorts, jackets, vests… or that random denim item living in the back of your closet (we see you, denim bucket hat). Using organic GOTS cotton thread that is naturally dyed, you’ll learn approachable embroidery techniques in a relaxed, creative setting. You are welcome to draw and bring your own design, or share what you’re envisioning in the text box below at signup and Bonnie will create a custom pattern for you ahead of the workshop. The workshop space is yours for two hours, with plenty of flexibility to work at your own pace. This is a laid-back evening rooted in self-expression and good Tahoe company.
