A new entertainment venue is preparing to open in downtown Columbus, taking over the former El Camino Inn space on South Fourth Street.
The venue, called The Valley, is being developed by the event production company Valley Soulz and is expected to host live music, creative events and community gatherings, according to an Instagram post.
In the March 6 post, the company said it aims to create a welcoming space for a wide range of visitors.
“We are on a mission to create a space where every walk of life is welcome and each guest has a new experience they can enjoy,” the post read. “Whether you are a creator, a guest or passerby, The Valley is here for you.”
The production company is led by Nikolas Ricks, who first built the design and entertainment brand in Las Vegas.
According to the company, the venue will feature live music performances and host private events while offering programming that may include comedy, poetry and other performances.
The venue will open at 238 S. Fourth St., the former home of El Camino Inn, which closed in 2024 after more than a decade operating in downtown Columbus.
The Valley does not have an official opening date, but encourages locals to stay updated on social media for upcoming events.
