You have to hand it to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson – they really have tried to have a impact on their daughters’ lives. Sadly for Princess Beatrice, 37, her hapless parents have caused tensions with her in-laws, while for Eugenie, Andrew and Fergie have humiliated her one step further.
It’s been revealed that married mother-of-two Eugenie, 35, felt compelled to step down as patron of the charity Anti-Slavery International, a role she held for seven years. The 187-year-old charity – the world’s oldest human rights organisation – was originally founded as the British and Foreign Anti-Slavery Society in 1839 to fight slavery and related abuses.
The UK-based organisation thanked the princess for her support and confirmed its relationship had ended, giving no reason for the dramatic severing of ties.
But I think we can all guess which two of her relatives the charity increasingly did not want to be linked to.
Her departure comes after the Charity Commission confirmed it was “assessing concerns” about a separate charity, The Anti-Slavery Collective, which the princess co-founded in 2017.
Andrew’s denied any wrongdoing but he and Fergie have been exposed – through the US-released Jeffrey Epstein Files – of having a shameless, grasping and fawning relationship with the dead paedophile financier.
Andrew’s shock arrest last month on suspicion of misconduct in a public office while working as a UK trade envoy, by allegedly leaking government information to Epstein, has only added to the pressure on Eugenie.
Anti-Slavery International describes its mission as helping to prevent slavery in its many forms, including child slavery, forced labour and human trafficking.
In 2008 Jeffrey Epstein admitted procuring a 14-year-old for prostitution and spent a year in prison before being released, but he was indicted for sex trafficking when he died in prison awaiting trial.
It has been claimed that with Andrew’s and Fergie’s links to Epstein – and Epstein facing sex trafficking allegations – Eugenie’s role at the charity was in the spotlight.
Additionally, the photos released in January by the US Department of Justice showing Andrew kneeling on all fours over a female lying on the ground also rang alarm bells for the charity.

Then there is the link – the extent of which we still do not fully understand – between Eugenie herself and Epstein that was nurtured by her own parents in yet another betrayal.
We know that in 2009 Eugenie and Beatrice joined their mum on a flight to the US to celebrate Epstein’s release from prison for that child sex charge involving the 14-year-old.
Why would a parent take their 19-year-old daughter to meet a self-confessed paedophile – Epstein admitted the offence – who had a depraved lust for young girls?
Separately we also know that in 2010 Epstein asked Fergie to have Eugenie and Beatrice show his own goddaughter the sights of London. We don’t know if this ever happened.
Thanks again mum! Fergie was truly throwing her daughters into Epstein’s web. Now Eugenie has felt so tainted by her parents that she has had to step back from the anti-slavery charity.
Her parents committed arson to their own reputations ages ago – now they seem hell bent on setting their daughters’ lives alight.
When life gets hard, the day tiresome and thoughts get bleak – just say to yourself: “Thank God Andrew and Fergie are not my mum and dad!”
