Has Euphoria been renewed for Season 4?
Euphoria hasn’t been renewed for Season 4 at HBO, and it has since been confirmed by the cabler that Season 3 will be Euphoria‘s last. In an episode of Popcast, the podcast for The New York Times, Levinson said, “In terms of the story we set out to tell, which is a story about addiction and its consequences, this feels like the end to me.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, this sentiment was reconfirmed by HBO. This would make Season 3’s finale the show’s last episode ever.
Who could have starred in Euphoria Season 4?
As viewers saw, Season 3 of Euphoria bid many of its major players adieu, as Rue (Zendaya) overdosed to death in the Season 3 finale, and Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi) died in the penultimate installment. Meanwhile, the last major OG characters still left alive in the universe were Ali (Colman Domingo), Maddy (Alexa Demie), Cassie (Sydney Sweeney), Jules (Hunter Schafer), and Lexi (Maude Apatow). Fez (the late Angus Cloud) was put in prison, with his fate being unclear. Eric Dane, who played Nate’s dad, died earlier in 2026, making his return as Cal impossible for future installments. And though Leslie (Nika King), Rue’s mother, was still alive when the series ended, her minimal presence made her return unlikely.
What would Euphoria Season 4 have been about?
Without Rue in play, the room for a story to carry across another season didn’t seem possible. HBO’s confirmation that Season 3 is Euphoria‘s final season reaffirms that the story has run its natural course.
