Stencil Your Story: Renegade Art: A Study in Art is 9 a.m. – noon Sept. 12 at TR Makers Co. Recommended for ages 5-12. $48. Discover how art can speak louder than words in this Arts Lead Learning class at TR Makers Co. Be inspired by street artists like Banksy, learn stenciling techniques, apply mixed media styles, and discover the bold world of renegade art. Starry Nights programs are at Roper Mountain Science Center Sept. 12. “Map to the Chocolate Planet” is at 4:30 p.m. “FORWARD! To the Moon” is at 6 and “James Webb Space Telescope: The Story Unfolds” is at 7:30 p.m. Advance ticket purchases are required. For details, visit ropermountain.org.

Touch-A-Truck presented by Katie Pizzo Orthodontics, is at the TD Saturday Market 8 a.m. – noon Sept. 13 in downtown Greenville. Waggin’ at the Waterpark is Sept. 13 at Otter Creek Waterpark. For details, visit waterparks.greenvillerec.com. 

Toddler Time is at 10 a.m. Sept. 13 and 16 at the Upcountry History Museum. Toddler Time includes games and activities, followed by a group story time that includes snacks and juice. For details and ticket information, visit upcountryhistory.org.

Music on the Mountain is 2 – 6 p.m. Sept. 13 at Table Rock State Park. Visit southcarolinaparks.com/products/10003633. 

Makers Make Open Studio: Mixed Media is 3:30 – 5 p.m. Sept. 17 at TR Makers Co. Recommended for ages 5-12. $25. At Makers Make Open Studio, students will be given a new artistic challenge each session. Challenges include working with a variety of mediums, colors, textures, and found items. This studio time is great for creative exploration, trying new things, building confidence in your skills, gaining skills in project management and artful engineering. During an open studio session, participants will work independently while having the opportunity to bounce ideas and inspiration off other participants. Teen Cosplay Workshop at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Spartanburg Main Library. For teens ages 12-18 or entering grades 7-12 only. Visit spartanburglibraries.org.
