The Morgan Brothers bring folk, pop and country rock from the 1960s and ’70s to Artisans at the Dahmen Barn at 7 p.m. Saturday for the venue’s final Summer Concert Series show of the season.

Tickets, $15, are at artisanbarn.org/classes-events through Friday and at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the outdoor concert.

Food, beer and wine are available for purchase. The concert will be moved indoors if the weather is too cool.

The closing reception for the Smithsonian Traveling exhibit “Voices and Votes: Democracy in America” is set for 4-6 p.m. Monday at the University of Idaho Library, 850 S. Rayburn St. in Moscow.

The free reception, presented by the Latah County Historical Society and UI Library, includes light refreshments.

The exhibit, which explores the history of voting rights and citizenship through historic photos, artifacts and videos, is open through Oct. 3.

“Voices and Votes” is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and state humanities councils, according to a historical society news release.

Speakers at the University of Idaho’s annual Borah Symposium will explore the question of how peace can be pursued in a world of rising tensions among global powers.

The symposium takes place from Monday through Wednesday on the UI campus in Moscow, with the theme “Great Power Competition.”

“In a time when global politics feels increasingly uncertain, conversations about great power competition are not just for policymakers — they affect all of us,” said Bal Krishna Sharma, co-chairperson of the Borah Committee and associate professor of applied linguistics.

Events include:

  • 7 p.m. Monday: Panel discussion on “The Impacts of Trade Wars on Agricultural Commodities,” moderated by Anna King, correspondent for the Northwest News Network, in the Bruce M. Pitman Center International Ballroom.
  • 12:30 p.m. Tuesday: Renfrew Colloquium: “Great Power Competition in the 21st Century: A View from the Middle East,” presented by visiting scholar Emine Ari, in the Pitman Center Vandal Ballroom.
  • 7 p.m. Tuesday: Plenary address by Esther D. Brimmer, a senior fellow in global governance at the Council on Foreign Relations and former assistant secretary of state for international organization affairs in the Obama administration, in the International Ballroom.
  • 7 p.m. Wednesday: Keynote address by K.T. McFarland, an American foreign policy analyst and former government official who served as national security adviser under President Donald Trump in 2017, in the International Ballroom.
