HAPPY GILMORE HAS gotten way more star-happy in its sequel, Netflix’s Happy Gilmore 2. The long-awaited follow-up to the legendary 1996 Adam Sandler comedy, which hit the streamer on July 25 to much fanfare and shock over one violent twist, is stuffed with more famous faces than you can likely count. (Hint: Sandler outdoes himself, even as a comedian who especially in his perch at Netflix loves bringing the whole gang out.)
The latest Sandler joint finds us following Happy (Sandler) as he comes out of retirement 30 years after his first Tour Championship win and attempts to reclaim golf glory. There are all your favorites from the OG film, naturally: Julie Bowen as Virginia, the love interest turned wife; Christopher McDonald as the truly reprehensible rival Shooter McGavin; Ben Stiller as Hal L. (whom Sandler obsessives may remember in Hubie Halloween as well), plus Kevin Nealon as a fellow golfer and Dennis Dugan as league commissioner. Robert Smigel also shows up again, though this time as a lawyer rather than an IRS agent.
That would be enough for several movies stuffed with absurdist sports humor. But Sandler decided to stuff some new favorite actors into this one. So many you may need a chart to figure it all out—which is why we put together this handy guide to the extra happy star casting, which sees everyone from Margaret Qualley to Bad Bunny (!) joining the fray.

The (Actual) Pro Golfers and Athletes

Happy Gilmore 2 may have as much to do with real golfing as Parks and Recreation faithfully captures local government work, but you have to flex the real deal in this kind of movie. And so Sandler does.
We glimpse a dizzying number of golfers, but here’s a rundown of notable names: Bryson DeChambeau, Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka (his wife Jena Sims is an unhinged fan), and Scottie Scheffler play the four golfers who need to defend the PGA tour against Frank Manatee’s Maxi League. Xander Schauffele shows up in the clubhouse desperate to get off a “That’s What She Said” joke. Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, and Bubba Watson pop in as as themselves/golfers, naturally. Even older golfers, like Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo, and Lee Trevino (who appeared in the first movie as well) make appearances. Will Zalatoris, meanwhile, both plays himself—and the grown-up version of Happy Gilmore’s original caddy from the first film, following up on a joke people have been making for years. Fun!
