The crème de la crème of American fashion has come together tonight for the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards. The gala, hosted by the Council of Fashion Designers of America, is taking place at New York City’s iconic Museum of Natural History.
The annual event celebrates the best in American fashion, and tonight, it will be presided over by CFDA chairman Thom Browne and CEO and President Steven Kolb. The host of the show will be singer Teyana Taylor, while designer andReal Housewives of New York City star Jenna Lyons will host the red carpet arrivals.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are nominated in the American Menswear Designer of the Year category, alongside Mike Amiri for Amiri, Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta for Eckhaus Latta, Thom Browne, and Willy Chavarria.
The nominees for American Womenswear Designer of the Year, meanwhile, are Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, Wes Gordon for Carolina Herrera, Rachel Scott for Diotima, and Daniella Kallmeyer for Kallmeyer.
Apart from the traditional awards, several fashion insiders and beloved designers will be honored. A$AP Rocky will receive the Fashion Icon Award while Donatella Versace will be given the Positive Change Award.
The guest list is a starry one this year. VIPs expected to attend include Olympic gymnast Sunisa Lee, as well as pop newbie
Addison Rae, who will present. Others who will take the stage to present includeAmber Valletta, Ariana DeBose, Ava Duvernay, Benito Skinner, Christopher John Rogers, Jennifer Fisher, Julianne Moore, Leslie Bibb, Naomi Campbell, and Nicole Phelps.
