There are few TV creators as prolific as Taylor Sheridan, let alone any who are just as successful. The Yellowstone creator and Paramount giant can really only look to Ryan Murphy or Shonda Rimes as his contemporaries now, and by 2029 he may even surpass them entirely. While he currently enjoys the successes of Landman, Lioness, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, and his latest Yellowstone spinoffs, Sheridan is set to switch teams in 2029 and take his talents to Universal. There, he’ll likely create an entire new lineup of shows for Peacock—or whatever NBC calls their streaming service in four years. Outside of Saturday Night Live reruns, they honestly might as well just name it TaylorSheridan.com.

Next up, Dutton Ranch looks to bring back Yellowstone’s Dutton magic to our TVs. Plus, Sheridan is attached to two more seasons of The Madison, starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell. Alongside his remaining lineup of Paramount+ shows, the writer is also returning to the theaters for the first time in six years. He’s reuniting with 1923’s Brandon Sklenar for F.A.S.T., a high-paced CIA action film. Then, he’s writing the live-action Call of Duty movie—one of the most highly anticipated video game adaptations for the big screen.

It’s only looking up for Sheridan, and the work below proves it. Check out his full slate of upcoming TV shows and films below and follow along with Esquire as we tune in for Dutton Ranch later this month.

Dutton Ranch (May 15, 2026)

Following Marshals, the second Yellowstone sequel spinoff looks to capture more of the Western drama’s particular tone and vibe. Where Kayce (Luke Grimes) may have wanted to put the past behind him and create a new life for himself after his wife died, his sibling Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and brother-in-law Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) are determined to carry on the family legacy and start a new ranch with the Dutton name. If Dutton Ranch can keep up the high energy of the trailer when it premieres, we’re in for a hell of a good time.

Lioness Season 3 (TBA 2026)

Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman will both return for another rip-roaring season of Lioness later this year, which is perfect because Sheridan now has another dozen world conflicts to pick from since season 2 aired. The war with Iran is probably top of mind, but what’s Sheridan take? The writer, if anything, has a mind all his own.

Landman Season 3 (TBA 2026)

Landman season 2 included two amazing decisions for the future health of the Texas oil drama. For starters, Sheridan added Sam Elliott as Tommy Norris’s (Billy Bob Thornton). Though the series doesn’t always know just what to do with him, he had a handful of last season’s best scenes. Second, Landman fired Tommy and gave him his own oil company, effectively rebooting the series for the next go around. Hopefully, the crew returns with every kink worked out for a strong season 3 later this year.

Tulsa King Season 4 (TBA 2026)

Is Stallone a bit too big for Tulsa now? Perhaps! After season 3, the number of the former New York mob captain’s rackets in Oklahoma hit levels that even the crews back in New York would envy. Dwight Manfredi (Stallone) earned his own distillery, for god’s sake, and he did it by burning a man alive in revenge. Who could possibly challenge him now? Well, we know that Samuel L. Jackson’s character Russell Lee Washington Jr. is planning to head his own spinoff in Frisco, Texas, titled Frisco King. Could we see a gang war between the two in the future? Only time will tell.

The Madison Season 2 (TBA)

Sheridan’s love letter to the Madison River Valley just premiered on Paramount+ this spring, featuring Michelle Pfeiffer as a widow who struggles with grief in the Montana wilderness. The entire cast already filmed the second of a planned two-season arc, which is likely due out next year. But after The Madison’s season finale aired, Paramount announced that the romantic drama was renewed for a third season as well. The Duttons may have broken up, but the Clyburns are here to stay.

Mayor of Kingstown Season 5 (TBA)

Mayor of Kingstown’s final season is currently filming, following the prison drama’s successful addition of Edie Falco as season 4’s new warden earlier this year. According to Paramount, the show’s last arc will center around FBI agent Russell Hardy (David Morse). The seasoned veteran is sent to Kingstown to “unearth all of Mike’s [Jeremy Renner] sins and secrets and disrupt Kingstown’s tenuous balance of power.”

F.A.S.T. (April 23, 2027)

Next spring, Taylor Sheridan returns to the big screen for the first time since 2021’s Those Who Wish Me Dead. He’s partnering once again with 1923’s Brandon Sklenar for an action film titled F.A.S.T. (The acronym is still a mystery.) The story follows a special forces commando (Sklenar) with leads a DEA strike team against CIA-protected drug dealers. The film also stars LaKeith Stanfield and Moonlight’s Trevante Rhodes.

Marshals Season 2 (TBA)

Despite poor reviews from Yellowstone fans who were left disappointed by the Luke Grimes-led spinoff, Marshals still garnered insanely high ratings on linear TV. The task force procedural is basically another NCIS or FBI just with Kayce Dutton along for the ride. Still, fans are waiting to find out just what happens in the season 1 finale to hook them onto another season either later this fall or early 2027.

Call of Duty (June 30, 2028)

Though it’s a bit further down the line, Paramount announced that Sheridan and director Peter Berg (American Primeval) are set to adapt Call of Duty. The first-person shooter video game franchise is of the best-selling titles in gaming history, with 2015’s Call of Duty: Black Ops III topping $43 million. Paramount is reportedly throwing a big budget behind the film, which is one of the most highly anticipated video game adaptions alongside Alex Garland’s Elden Ring, Chad Stahelski’s Ghost of Tsushima, and Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil.
