There’s no question that Taylor Swift is making her mark in 2025.

So far this year, the 14-time Grammy winner has announced her engagement to tight end Travis Kelce and released her highly anticipated 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”

On Monday, Oct. 13, Swift revealed on “Good Morning America” that she also has two new projects in the works, a new docuseries, “The End of an Era,” and a live recording of her last concert, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show.”

Here’s everything we know so far about the soon-to-be Mrs. Kelce’s upcoming projects.

What can we expect in Taylor Swift’s new docuseries and ‘Eras Tour’ special?

Swifties have been predicting for months that the Grammy winner would release a documentary following her highly-successful “Eras Tour” concert, which grossed over $2 billion in ticket sales.

It looks like they were right, as the pop superstar’s new docuseries, “The End of an Era” will walk viewers through her behind-the-scenes experience on “The Eras Tour.”

According to a press release, “The End of an Era,” will feature, “the development, impact, and inner-workings that created the phenomenon that was The Eras Tour.” The six-part series “gives an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world.”

Her other project, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show,” is a live recording of her final performance on “The Eras Tour,” which kicked off in March 2023 in Glendale, Arizona and ended in December 2024 in Vancouver, Canada.. “The Final Show” will also feature an entire set of Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” album, which she released during the tour.

Where can I watch Taylor Swift’s new docuseries?

The first two episodes “The End of an Era,” will drop on Disney+ on Dec. 12. Two new episodes will drop each week following the premiere.

Also on Dec. 12, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show,” will broadcast a live recording of her final performance on The Eras Tour, which took place on Dec. 8, 2024 in Vancouver.

This isn’t the first time Swift has shared some behind-the-scenes footage with fans. She already dropped an “Eras Tour” movie in theaters.

Is there a trailer for Swift’s latest project?

Yes, GMA aired a trailer for the two new projects on Monday, Oct. 13.

“People like to talk about phenomenons almost as if it was pieces falling into place as if it just happened,” Swift says in a voice-over during the trailer. “The Eras Tour’ wasn’t when all the pieces fell into place; this tour was just when every single one of us had done so much work, pushing inch by inch, to where we all clicked together.”

She continued, “We have broken every single record with this tour. The only thing left is to close the book.”

Several of Swift’s loved ones, including her parents, fiancee, Kelce, and friends, Ed Sheeran, Gracie Abrams, and Sabrina Carpenter will make a cameo.

Why is Taylor Swift dropping a new docuseries right now?

Swift is unbelievably busy these days. In addition to planning her wedding to Kelce and promoting a new album, she’s also in the midst of two new releases on Disney+. However, the Grammy winner says she didn’t want to let fans ever forget her highly successful Eras Tour.

In a post shared to Instagram on Monday, Swift spoke out about why she decided to drop a new docuseries.

She captioned the post, “It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”
