On Aug. 11, more than 15 Volunteers from Rebuilding Together Solano County and Vallejo Community Presbyterian Church partnered together to participate in the Vallejo Stefan Manor Elementary (SME) Back to School program. The volunteers distributed 125 Grocery Food Bags of meat, dairy, fruits, veggies, spaghetti, pasta sauce, black beans, mac-n-cheese, nuts, along with 75 children’s books, children’s vitamins / pediasure / children’s protein drinks, and 10 swimming pool kits. All net proceeds will help fund the Wreaths Across America ceremony on Dec. 13, 9 a.m. at the MARE ISLAND NAVAL CEMETERY in Vallejo. The $75 per person ticket will include snacks, soft drinks, music, and dancing.
