Luke Combs nearly caused a hurricane in his Instagram comments following his latest announcement.
The country megastar, 35, revealed that he has new music in store for his millions of fans.
On September 30, he announced The Prequel—a three-track project preceding the 2026 release of his upcoming album.
“Still working on my new album that’ll be out early next year but 3 songs from it are ready now and I couldn’t wait to get y’all some new music, so I’m releasing them this Friday, October 3 as The Prequel,” Combs wrote on Instagram.
“Songs will be Days Like These, 15 Minutes and My Kinda Saturday Night, which next year’s tour will be named after. I’ll have more news on that very soon,” he continued.
The North Carolina native revealed that he wrote “My Kinda Saturday Night” with Randy Montana and Jonathan Singleton; “15 Minutes” alongside Trey Pendley, Rob Pennington, and Grant Vogel; and “Days Like These” with Brent Cobb and Aaron Raitiere.

Fans could hardly contain their excitement in the comments, with one writing, “Ahhhh let’s go!!! I can’t wait.”

Combs’ My Kinda Saturday Night Tour will kick off in 2026.
In the meantime, the country icon is scheduled to perform during multiple 2025 music festivals. According to his website, these shows include:
Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin, Texas, on October 3 and 10
Country Calling in Ocean City, Maryland, on October 5
Bootleggers Bonfire in Miramar Beach, Florida, on October 23 and 25
Combs also released the hit song “Back in the Saddle” on July 25.
