February 27, 2026 – Eastern Wharf recently announced its Spring Concert Series, which will be curated by Savannah Stopover Music Festival.
The series kicks off on Friday, February 27th at 6 p.m. with a collaboration between Savannah Stopover Music Festival and local music promoter Dog Days Presents. The lineup features Atlanta rising stars Improvement Movement, who have spent the last year playing festivals and sharing sold-out stages with bands from Khrungabin to Unknown Mortal Orchestra and will be part of an upcoming spring tour with Iron & Wine.
“Savannah Stopover has always been about shining the spotlight on emerging talent and Improvement Movement is one of those rare acts that stops you in your tracks at first listen” said Kayne Lanahan, the founder of Savannah Stopover Music Festival and the programming director for Eastern Wharf. ”When Kyle Brown from Dog Days reached out about them, it was an immediate yes to have them kick off the season. We’re also thrilled to be bringing back the ever popular Same As It Ever Was in April and hosting Futurebirds for the first time at Eastern Wharf in May!”
For all concerts, attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy live music in the Park at Eastern Wharf. Local food trucks will be on-site. While the shows are free, a limited number of VIP tickets are available, which include prime riverfront concert viewing with first-come, first-served seating as well as complimentary snacks, beer and wine.
