Don’t miss the 2026 Fête de la Musique – Make Music Day on Saturday, June 20 from 4 pm – 8 pm. The free music event will feature more than 30 musical acts performing all genres of music – from R&B to Americana, jazz, classical, indie, rock, and music with Latin, Brazilian, African, Southeast Asian, and French influences – at over 10 parks and plazas throughout Georgetown’s commercial district and at two stages at the French Embassy (5 pm – 10 pm; Embassy shows are ticketed).
Several Georgetown businesses are also offering special Make Music Day promotions – from 15% off purchases to a sip-and-shop and free appetizer.
The event is presented by the Georgetown BID, Georgetown Heritage Arts, and the Embassy of France – Villa Albertine.
