Fetty Wap is set to release his fourth studio album, “Zavier,” March 27, marking his first full-length project since his early release from federal prison in January.
The 17-track album signals a return for the New Jersey-born rapper, whose 2015 breakout success made him a prominent figure in hip-hop.
The project includes features from Wiz Khalifa, Max B, G Herbo and Monty, a longtime collaborator and member of the Remy Boyz collective.
Born Willie Junior Maxwell II, Fetty Wap was raised in Paterson. He has frequently referenced Paterson in his music, crediting the community with shaping his sound and identity. The rapper emerged from the city’s local music scene before gaining national attention with his breakout single “Trap Queen,” which highlighted both his melodic style and his ties to his hometown.
According to details shared ahead of the release, the album centers on themes of personal growth, time away from the spotlight and navigating a return to the music industry. The project was recorded shortly after Fetty Wap’s release, with early mentions pointing to the track “White Roses” as a standout.
Zavier follows his 2023 project King Zoo and arrives at a pivotal moment in the artist’s career as he attempts to reestablish his presence in the industry.
The album will be available on streaming platforms Friday. You can find it on Spotify, Apple Music or wherever you get your music.
